We use very few cookies, and none of them follow you off this site. Here is the complete list.

Essential — always active

Cookie

What it does

bx_consent

Records your cookie-consent choice (all, essential, or dismissed) so we don’t ask again on every page.

1 year

bx_theme

Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode so the page doesn’t flash on reload.

Functional — only with your consent

Cookie

What it does

bx_prefs

Stores small UI preferences — reduced-motion setting, browser locale, and when you last visited — so the site feels familiar when you return.

1 year

bx_count

An anonymous page-view counter so we know which parts of the site get used. Contains only a count and timestamp — no profile, no identifier we can trace to you.

What a cookie is

A small file your browser keeps for a site. Ours exist to remember your consent choice, keep the theme consistent, note a UI preference, and count pages anonymously. That is the full extent of it.

How consent works

On your first visit a small banner asks whether you accept all cookies or essential only. Your answer is stored in the bx_consent cookie for one year.

  • Accept all → essential + functional cookies are set.
  • Essential only → only bx_consent and bx_theme are set. Functional cookies are never written.

If you dismiss the banner (×), we treat it as essential only.

What we do not use

  • Advertising or retargeting pixels of any kind.
  • Cross-site trackers that follow you after you leave.
  • Social embeds that phone home before you click them.
  • Session recording or heatmap scripts watching your mouse.
  • Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party analytics.

Turning them off

You can block or clear cookies from your browser settings at any time. Blocking bx_consent means the consent banner will reappear on each visit. Blocking bx_theme means the page may flash briefly while loading your preferred theme.

Blocking bx_prefs or bx_count costs you nothing. Everything still works.

Cookies on public cards

When someone opens a card at yourname.atbexo.com, we set no cookies on their browser at all. A card can be read without leaving a trace — that is deliberate, and it is how we would want our own card read.

Dashboard cookies

When you sign in to the BEXO dashboard at dash.mybexo.com, the server sets additional cookies for authentication and security:

  • bx_sessionKeeps you signed in (30 days).
  • bx_csrfSecurity token to prevent cross-site request forgery (session-length).

These are set only on the dashboard origin, not on this marketing site.

Plain summary

Four cookies on this site — two essential, two functional with your consent. Zero for advertising. Visitors reading your card get none.
